Words can not express how much I've missed you all. I apologize for my absence, school along with what can sometimes be a chaotic personal life kept me away. Along with the season much has changed. I'm now 24-27pds down with this difficult healthier lifestyle. Still the same sassy, sultry ray of sunshine(say that 5 times fast.lol)

Shine & Shimmer

Hi my Harlet Lilies, 

So in addition to this being a personal style blog my primary goal is to always empower women. Because lets face it not many people just come up to you in this thing called womanhood & give liberating empowering words throughout life. Sometimes folks see women who are standing in their confidence & shinning brighter than the brightest star as "cocky" or undeserving of that light. Sadly for what ever personal reasons they find this to be awkward. As if we as humans in general don't go through enough difficult situations to every now and again spruce ourselves up and enjoy life (imagine that). But being a woman I can only speak from my own personal experience. Long story short a recent event I attended I got some mixed emotions about my choice of outfit. I was told I need to be more appropriate (what ever the hell that means). Like always I brushed it off and enjoyed my evening. However I woke up with it burning so vivid in my mind I had to speak on it. 

Without any further delay the outfit that caused the "commotion" 

Live a free life my beautiful lilies. Hopefully my sharing this inspires another person to embrace their light also
